I tried giving a Johnny half of a banana unsmashed (closely supervised, of course) to see how he would do with it. He ate about half of it and then I finally remembered to get out the video camera.

At the end of the recording (there was a minute more), he got the banana stuck on his finger and then flung it on the floor. Ah, a small glimpse into what feeding a toddler will be like...
