Why you should put smashed banana in your hair instead of gel:
I met this guy once who had a pretty wicked mohawk that he kept standing on his head using hair gel, Crisco, and Elmer's glue. If only he had known about the wonderful properties of banana paste, he could have saved himself some trouble and used a more organic substance.
