The weekend before last (I know, I know, I'm doing this really late...) we celebrated Johnny's first birthday in grand fashion! It was dinosaur-themed, which in my anti-decoration language means the invitations and cake were dinosaur-themed. I didn't take many pictures since I got caught up talking to people, but I have included the ones I did take... including the one of the bomb cake that I made. And it actually tasted okay, too!
He has enjoyed all of the toys that were given to him (the ones that I've let him have so far, that is) and I'm sure is going to start wondering why he only gets new toys once a year when everyone else gets them twice a year... ah, the plight of the December baby.
